Do I need a permit for remodel plumbing?

When you add or move fixtures or run new pipe, Michigan treats it as new work and a permit is needed. We pull the permit and handle the inspections.

Can you work with my contractor?

Yes. We work directly with your general contractor, or we can run point on the plumbing ourselves if you're managing the remodel.

Can you move a toilet or sink to a different spot?

Usually, yes. Moving a fixture means relocating its drain and supply lines. How involved that is depends on the floor and wall framing. We'll tell you before you commit.

Should I replace old pipes while the walls are open?

If your home has galvanized or polybutylene pipe, a remodel is the cheapest time to replace it, because the walls are already open.

Do you install the new fixtures too?

Yes. We set sinks, faucets, toilets, tubs, and shower valves once the finishes are ready.
