Common questions

Faucet & Fixture Installation: your questions, answered

Can you install a faucet I already bought?

Yes. We install customer-supplied faucets and fixtures all the time. Send us the model number ahead of time so we can confirm it fits your sink and valves.

Should I repair my faucet or replace it?

If the faucet is newer and a quality brand, a cartridge or washer repair is usually the smart move. If it's old, corroded, or parts aren't available, replacing it often costs about the same and lasts longer. We'll tell you which makes sense before we start.

Do you replace the shut-off valves too?

If the valves under the sink are old or don't close fully, we recommend replacing them while we're there. It's a small add-on that keeps a future leak from becoming an emergency.

Can you replace a shower valve without tearing out the tile?

Often, yes. Many shower valves can be replaced from behind an access panel or through the trim opening. We'll look at your setup and tell you what's involved before any wall is opened.

Do you install outdoor spigots?

Yes. We install and replace hose bibs, including frost-free models that hold up better through a Michigan winter.
